Core beliefs - exploring the mindset of the individual +

In this module, we begin by exploring the mindset of the individual being assisted. Risk assessments are performed to gain a better understanding of the unique challenges each individual encounters when returning to society after a period of incarceration. A release readiness assessment is performed to determine how mentally prepared an individual is to reenter society. Areas needing special consideration are identified and discussed. Existing belief systems are explored and defined. We discuss the significance of being armed with the answer to the question, “Why?” as it relates to the motivation behind our decisions and chosen paths. We discuss the concepts of authenticity, inherent purpose and how we identify ourselves. We conclude by revisiting the question regarding the individual's level of commitment to a brighter future.
